12-Day Trek : 7 July - 26 July 2008

All programmes are booked out. Beginning of November 2008 programmes for 2009 will come out. We thank you for your understanding and will be glad to answer any questions you may have. We are looking forward hearing from you for the next trekking period.

The Naadam Festival takes place every year, on July 11 and 12, as a commemoration of Revolution Day 1921. This festival is the most important event of the year for the nomads and their horses. On this occasion, we will follow the local festivities taking place in Khatgal: a colourful and truly joyful moment. It is a journey of integration and no other country could be more suited than Mongolia with its vastness and beauty. The north offers variation with its spectacular mountainous world and the sky is so blue it will hurt your eyes. Mongolians are a part of this brilliance. They are very hospitable, happy, curious and open to everything. You will experience this friendliness when meeting them and listening to their unforgettable songs. We travel along the stunning shores of Lake Hovsgol and pass the amazing mountain chains. We ride along forests and over hills and roam the plains full of wonderful, wild flowers. We cross steams and vast river beds and you will gaze over the highlands and the white lakes. Reaching about 3000 m or 9000 ft we will look down onto the breathtaking National Park which hugs Lake Hovsgol, forming a heart with its lushness. Romance in one of the world's most forgotten countries.
